SAP IDM Consultant

Job title: SAP IDM Consultant\n\nJob type: Contract\n\nContract Length: 12 months\n\nRate: 300-320 euros per day\n\nRole Location: Bulgaria\n\nRole and Responsibilities: \n\nArchitect, build, and support SAP Identity Management (IdM) solutions across enterprise environments, covering configuration, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.\n\nEngineer provisioning pipelines, identity lifecycle processes, and account management workflows, tuning them for reliability and performance.\n\nManage IdM repositories, identity records, roles, privileges, and associated security controls.\n\nBuild custom extensions and integrations using object-oriented Java and JavaScript.\n\nDesign and implement RESTful and OData-based interfaces, leveraging Apache Olingo where applicable.\n\nConnect SAP IdM to both SAP and third-party systems, including directories, databases, HR platforms, and other enterprise applications.\n\nWork hands-on with relational database platforms such as SAP ASE, Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2, writing and tuning SQL queries, stored procedures, and data pipelines that support IdM operations.\n\nManage the development toolchain — Eclipse, Git, Maven, and Jenkins for version control, builds, and CI/CD automation.\nJob Requirements: \n\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.\n\n4-7+ years working in IAM, SAP IdM, identity management, security engineering, or a comparable technical role.\n\nDemonstrated, hands-on expertise configuring, developing, and administering SAP Identity Management, including workflow design.\n\nSolid grasp of identity lifecycle processes: provisioning, account management, roles, privileges, authentication, and authorization.\n\nProven background in object-oriented Java development.\n\nWorking knowledge of JavaScript alongside broader web/application development concepts.\n\nPractical experience building REST APIs; OData exposure is a plus.\n\nFamiliarity with Apache Olingo or a similar Java-based OData framework is a strong advantage.\n\nSolid relational database expertise, with direct experience in at least one of: SAP ASE, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or IBM DB2.\n\nStrong SQL capabilities, including query writing, transaction handling, database design, and data integration work.\n\nComfort with standard Java/CI-CD tooling: Git, Maven, Eclipse, and Jenkins (or equivalents).\n\nAwareness of secure coding practices, software security principles, and enterprise access control models.\n\nTrack record delivering in Agile environments (Scrum and/or Kanban).\n\nSharp analytical and troubleshooting instincts for resolving complex technical problems.\n\nExcellent English communication skills, spoken and written.\n\nFluency in Bulgarian, with strong client-facing communication ability.\nAccessibility Statement:?
