In the employment and growth services of the City of Tampere, we promote responsible employment, entrepreneurship, and economic policy. We facilitate the creation of new businesses and support their growth, ensure the availability of skilled labor both nationally and internationally, and develop workforce skills. We are responsible for employment services in the Tampere region in accordance with a regional cooperation agreement. We provide tasks mandated by law for employment authorities and tasks related to promoting integration as specified by law. We work with an innovative mindset. We are seeking a Customer Service Representative for a permanent position in the integration services at International House Tampere. The position will be filled starting from November 2, 2026, or as agreed. Your task is to receive quota refugees and other clients with a refugee background who are in the initial phase of integration into the municipality. As a customer service representative, you will be responsible for and coordinate the initial settlement process of clients, prepare assessments of skills and integration service needs, and develop integration plans. You will handle pre-arrival preparations and coordination with various parties for quota refugees, as well as client reception. After clients move to the municipality, you will ensure the smooth initiation of the integration process. To succeed in this role, the customer service representative should have good interaction and cooperation skills, the ability to communicate guidance clearly to clients who are moving to a new environment and society, and the ability to set boundaries with clients requiring demanding interactions. A good command of Finnish is required for successful performance. The minimum qualification is a higher education degree. Preferred qualifications include: - Experience in client work promoting integration - Familiarity with early-stage integration activities and service systems for immigrants - Knowledge of statutory public integration services and third-sector services - Experience in planned, change-oriented coaching work Please attach copies of certificates proving your qualifications to your electronic application via Kuntarekry. We use a six-month probation period for permanent positions. The salary consists of a level-based salary of €3,133.48/month, experience-based supplements, and other possible allowances.
