Senior PHP Engineer

About Lendable We’re looking for a Senior PHP Engineer based in Mexico to help grow Lenda, our credit card product for the Mexican market. You’ll join a small, cross-functional team with a startup mindset, backed by a fintech with a strong European backing. You’ll play a key role in scaling a new product, with significant ownership and the opportunity to shape how we build from an early stage. Responsibilities include collaborating across Product, Backend and Frontend, shaping API and technical decisions, and delivering customer value quickly. Requirements include strong PHP 8+ experience, Symfony or Laravel, Domain Driven Design, Event Sourcing, CQRS, automated testing, and excellent collaboration. Nice to have: microservices exposure and experience with financial systems, AI tooling experience, cross-functional environment. Interview process features a short video call, cognitive assessment, a technical session, and a culture interview.
