Työtehtävän kuvaus
We are seeking to strengthen our team with three (3) practical nurses for permanent employment at the residential service unit Onnentupa in Alavus Töysä starting from August 1 or according to agreement. Onnentupa is a small unit with 5 beds, providing short-term care for children and adolescents under 18 who require special support. The operation emphasizes safety, individuality, family-centeredness, as well as daily rehabilitation and guidance. We work with a rehabilitative approach, supporting the child's own resources. We implement activities tailored to the child's needs and wishes, listening to the child and supporting their rights. The work is carried out in close cooperation with the child's relatives. We value respectful encounters with the child and family. Our operations are expanding, and we are now looking for three practical nurses to do meaningful and valuable work with children with developmental disabilities. We offer diverse work where you can utilize your strengths. Good cooperation and communication skills, a positive attitude towards work, and a desire to provide high-quality, customer-oriented care are required. Flexibility, initiative, and creativity are appreciated. The practical nurse's work involves three-shift work. Onnentupa is led by a shared supervisor with Tervashovi in Alavus. Tervashovi is a 24/7 residential unit for people with disabilities. If necessary, we will flexibly use Onnentupa staff also for Tervashovi needs in situations where, for example, a scheduled period for a child is canceled, fewer children are present than planned, or the expansion of activities does not start immediately at the beginning of August. Qualifications include a basic degree in social and health care, practical nurse (qualification according to Law 559/1994 or 817/2015). Registration with Valvira's register of social and health care professionals as a protected title professional, a valid LOVe medication authorization, and good Finnish language skills are required. A hygiene passport is considered an advantage. Terms of employment and salary are determined according to the SOTE agreement, with a starting salary of €2627.08/month. A trial period applies at the beginning of employment. A certificate of health status and a criminal background check according to law (504/2002) must be presented before accepting the permanent position. A drug test may be required from the selected candidate. HYVAEP is a smoke-free workplace. The position requires vaccination protection according to section 48 of the Infectious Diseases Act and a certificate regarding tuberculosis of the respiratory tract according to section 55.
