Valuatum Oy is seeking a commercial professional to join its growth team to build new business. We are looking for a person for a responsible and independent role, who wants to take overall responsibility for commercializing new products, building sales, and developing customer relationships. This is not a traditional "maintaining an existing sales pipeline" or narrow sales role, but essentially an internal entrepreneurial role, where you will have the opportunity to build a significant part of our business almost from scratch. The exact seniority, responsibilities, and working model of the role can be flexibly tailored according to the candidate's background, experience, and goals. The position can be customized for a highly ambitious young professional as well as for an experienced sales, business, or industry director who wants to build a new growth business in a very practical role. The collaboration model can be built flexibly, for example, as full-time, part-time, project-based, or consulting. The role can also be executed entirely remotely, with a compensation model that is primarily commission-based. This role is especially suitable for someone who wants to combine: strategic business development, practical B2B sales, finance and analytics expertise, AI-based software products, and genuine influence in a growth company. You are not required to sell all our products or participate in all sales projects. The role can be tailored specifically around the products, industries, or clients where you have the most expertise, interest, or networks. You can focus on just one business area or multiple, depending on your background, interests, and collaboration model. For example, an ex-investment analyst or portfolio manager could effectively sell our AI-based stock research tools, a person working in corporate finance or lending could focus on our credit risk products, and an ex IR manager or investor relations professional could handle our IR solutions. What does the role practically entail? You will be responsible for building and developing the entire commercial entity. Your tasks include, for example: planning and executing sales strategy, building and leading sales pipelines, acquiring new customers and developing existing accounts, market and competitor analysis, pricing strategy, budgeting, continuous development of sales processes and practices. In other words, you will not just sell, but also build and lead the entire operation. What kind of person succeeds in this role?
