Juveneksen opiskelijaravintola Newton & Café Konehuone ja Catering Services at Hervanta Campus offer delicious lunches, high-quality meeting services, and versatile catering and order services for students, staff, and visitors of Tampere University, as well as for the basic education site in Konetalo. We are looking for a kitchen shift supervisor who is enthusiastic about diverse tasks, taking responsibility, and the importance of good food for people's well-being. If you are a professional in the restaurant industry with experience in kitchen processes in a student restaurant, ordering supplies, and self-monitoring, you might be the right addition to our team! As a shift supervisor, you will be responsible for the smooth daily operation of the kitchen in close cooperation with the head chef and kitchen team. Your tasks include, among others: - Managing daily kitchen operations - Participating in the preparation and presentation of lunch dishes - Supervising the preparation of salad bar products - Preparing products for meeting and event services - Handling statutory kitchen matters, ensuring food processes and quality, and managing raw materials. We hope you have: - A responsible approach to work and readiness to take initiative - Positivity and ability to maintain a good working atmosphere - Experience in large-scale kitchen operations and supervisory work - Experience with production control systems (e.g., Jamix) - Fluent Finnish language skills.
