Seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead the quality-focused kitchen at Restaurant Fregatti in Vuosaari, Helsinki. Do you have previous experience in supervisory roles in a kitchen? Fregatti is a relaxed and straightforward dining and socializing restaurant located in the maritime and cozy heart of Vuosaari, in the Columbuskeskus shopping center. Fregatti is a high-quality local bistro combining à la carte, lunch, and a strong pub culture. The atmosphere, quality, customer experience, and ambiance are central to everything we do. We also offer a great and often updated selection of craft beers and ciders, as well as an excellent wine list. https://www.ravintolafregatti.fi/ In this role, you will have the opportunity to genuinely influence and lead Fregatti’s kitchen, developing food products to the next level together with a top team. You have previous experience with buffet service, home-style lunches, and à la carte operations. Menu planning, quality food, and smooth kitchen operations are familiar to you. In addition to industry training, you have a passion for good food and high-quality ingredients. You can lead the kitchen firmly without losing a good vibe. You develop operations and lead the team with a positive attitude and by example. You are able to interpret the restaurant’s key business figures and have experience in cost-effective purchasing and administrative tasks in the kitchen. You communicate fluently in Finnish and English. Onniravintolat is a responsible family-owned company now in its second generation, comprising thirteen different restaurants and its own brewery in the Helsinki metropolitan area. The company has grown steadily by establishing new restaurants. Passion for restaurant operations and attentive listening to customer wishes have led to success. This is supported by a dedicated team of nearly one hundred employees who professionally manage various restaurant concepts.
