The operation of Tenhola-Bromarvin Service Home is based on creating a meaningful life for our residents that supports their well-being. Good care and quality of care are important to us, which means that every encounter with an elderly person is filled with respect, sensitivity, and presence — every day of the year and every hour of the day. The workday includes assisting residents, caring for them, and enabling their important hobbies. We organize events and activities for residents and plan them together. Examples of activities available to residents include visual arts, music, exercise, outdoor activities, trips, and celebrations. We are looking for someone who wants to participate and help develop a more customer-oriented care culture. Your key responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating resident care, as well as establishing trusting relationships with residents and their loved ones. The role also involves acting as a primary nurse, responsible for the individual care process, using digital systems required for operations, and documenting the care process in accordance with legislation and guidelines. Welcome to us at Tenhola-Bromarvin Service Home! Workplace and address: Germundbyn tie 3A, 10520 Tenhola, Raseborg Working hours: Shift work 114 h 45 min / 3 weeks The position is permanent. Interviews will start during the application period. Qualifications: Licensed practical nurse qualification, authorizing the use of protected job title. The role requires vaccination protection according to Infectious Diseases Act section 48 and tuberculosis screening according to section 55. In the West Uusimaa welfare area, a drug test in accordance with the substance abuse program may be requested from the selected candidate. Before starting work, the selected candidate must present a criminal record extract in accordance with law 741/2023 section 28, to verify criminal background for working with elderly persons. Additionally, a valid medication dispensing license and sufficient spoken and written Finnish language skills are required. To enjoy working with us, you should have good interaction skills and the ability to take responsibility for your work. A positive attitude towards new practices and changes is also important.
