Android Automotive SDV Developer

◾Main task: 【担当領域】 Next-gen cockpit system based on Android Automotive OS (AAOS) for in-vehicle applications. In R&D, development of connected vehicle systems leveraging cloud and smartphone to provide diverse customer experiences inside the car. Based on Google's AAOS source, continuously follow AAOS evolution and tailor applications/services for our vehicles, delivering new value via OTA. ◾Specific duties: (1) derive requirements for vehicle software from user stories and system requirements, lead requirements definition from feasibility/technical standpoint. (2) assess software architecture for extensibility/maintainability and draft improvement plans. (3) understand AAOS latest trends and authentication requirements, share with stakeholders and lead adaptive deployment. (4) perform technical reviews of software implementations and lead quality verification/evaluation. ◾Expected roles: Technical lead leveraging Android knowledge to solve technical challenges; contribute as core member in Osaka new base, shaping development processes, supporting recruitment, fostering engineering culture. ◾Location/Work style: Hybrid work with new Osaka office; remote collaboration with R&D HQ in Kanagawa; autonomous work style expected. Team: initial several members with growth to dozens later. ◾Appeal: Opportunity to deliver connected car services worldwide; growth in connectivity knowledge and English communication. ◾Registration qualifications/Experience: Must: Android platform (AOSP) based development experience (App/Framework/HAL/Native).
