The role combines operational tasks and active development. As we grow, you will have the opportunity to expand your responsibilities based on your skills and interests. The role can be tailored to your strengths and may include development of financial processes as well as IT and quality processes. In this position, you will be responsible for the implementation of monthly closing together with the accounting firm, including analysis and reporting. You will work closely with business units to provide clear, up-to-date, and understandable financial information to support decision-making. Additionally, you will participate in developing financial processes and activities. You will collaborate closely with the CFO, business management, and external financial and system partners. Our goal is for you to master the monthly closing and reporting processes within the first six months. The role can be performed in our modern hybrid work model, but regular collaboration with our CFO Jukka is best achieved through regular work at our Tampere office. To succeed in this role: We hope you have a relevant higher education background and several years of experience as a controller, for example in an expert organization or project business. You understand the financial principles of project operations and can apply them practically. You communicate fluently in Finnish and English. You have strong analytical skills, can distinguish the essential from the non-essential, and are proficient with modern reporting and analytics tools. You take responsibility for your own learning and adhere to schedules. Although your work focuses on numbers, you also act as a business sparring partner. Therefore, good interaction and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to build trust with various stakeholders, are valued.
