Commercial Manager - Enersense International Oy - Helsinki, Suomi

Enersense Engineering is currently seeking Commercial Managers to support our clients Data Centre projects in several locations across Finland. We are hiring on a permanent basis and the work is set to start as soon as possible. Main tasks and responsibilities: * Lead and manage the commercial team in a fast-paced construction environment, ensuring high performance, accountability and strong commercial awareness * Put effective cost control processes in place * Prepare and present key commercial reports to senior management * Plan and manage project procurement to meet timelines, scope and budget * Ensure a smooth handover of information from pre-construction to the project team * Build and maintain good relationships with clients and suppliers * Ensure all commercial documentation is accurate and properly maintained * Monitor project risks and opportunities together with the project team * Identify and address commercial issues early * Carry out due diligence on new subcontractors and suppliers, including checking their capacity before engagement * Ensure subcontract and purchase order documentation is complete and protects the companys interests * Manage payment processes in line with contract terms, including client payments and supply chain invoicing Requirements: * Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field * 10+ years of relevant experience * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal * Good numerical and problem-solving skills * Experience working for a main contractor * Knowledge of MEP is an advantage * Experience with different procurement methods (e.g. lump sum, remeasure, two-stage / open book, design & build) * Previous experience in Data Centre projects is mandatory * Finnish language skills considered as a benefit Please send your application soon, as the position will be filled as soon as a suitable candidate is found.
